These fitting instructions are for the
Dektite retrofit roof flashing.
Dektite EPDM flashing are not suited to use with single skin flue pipe as the flue gets too hot. In this situation use a
Dektite high temperature flashing.

| Trim the cone of the Dektite flashing to suit the flue pipe using sharp tin snips. |
With the clip in the downstream position, wrap the top of the cone around the flue pipe and engage the metal teeth in opposing pockets starting at the top. |
To assist locating the clip in the pocket place a hand behind the seam. Fasten the clip with pilers or mutigrips, working from the top to the base. be careful not to overcrimp the clips. |

Apply sealnt to the underside of the base of the Dektite retrofit flashing and press down into the shape and contours of the roof by hand. |
Fasten the the flashing to the roof with self sealing fasteners or pop (seled) rivets. Place fasteners either side of the clip first. |
Apply sealant to the top of the crimp closure and any other potential leak areas. If the flue pipe has a seam in it apply silicone sealant where the seam meets the cone of the flashing. |

Fixing kits for the retrofit flashing
There are two sizes of fixing kit small (KIT 1) and large (KIT 2).
In KIT 1 contains: 1 x 75ml tube of Silicone, 25 x Self Drilling Screws, 25 x colour caps (Silver) and 1 x fixing instruction leaflet. Kit 1 costs £8.50 inc VAT.
In KIT 2 contains: 3 x 75ml tube of Silicone, 75 x Self Drilling Screws, 75 x colour caps (Silver) and 1 x fixing instruction leaflet. KIT 2 costs £12.00 inc VAT.
