| Trim the cone of the Dektite flashing to suit the flue pipe using sharp tin snips. |
Using water as a lubricant slide the roof flashing down the flue pipe. If the flue pipe has a folded seam then once the flashing is fully installed apply a bead of silicone where this seam meets the EPDM cone to make sure that it is waterproof. |
Ensure that the roofing material that the flashing will bond to is clean, dry and dust free. Turn back the flexible flange of the Dektite flashing and apply silicone sealant around the edge. |

 |
 |
| Press the base of the Dektite square flashing to the roof profile by hand, smoothing out any awkward creases. Do not fully extend the base so as to allow for vibration. |
Fasten the edge of the flashing to the roof with self sealing fasteners or pop (sealed) rivets. If the flue pipe you are using has a seam in it then apply silicone where this meets the cone of the flashing. |
Use the Dektite flashing on the diamond for enlarged penetrations on steep pitched roofs or deep corrugations. |
