This picture shows how a series of air ducts can be used to distribute hot air from the chamber that the Fondis Passion stove is installed in to other rooms in the house. Because these large insert stoves are often built in to a new chimney breast (the stove housing needs enough room for the door to be able to retract upwards) these hot air ducts can easily be incorporated into the design and used to take hot air upstairs or to a room next door. There is an optional fan to assist the air movement.
The hot air from the chamber must be vented somehow - grilles are availble to vent the hot air directly into the room. We can supply a custom made register plate with spigots for hot air ducts, ducting and grilles for fitting into the other rooms.
