HEAT and SHIFT 2011 Conferences 24-25 November
This conference looks to be really quite interesting and from the flavour and calibre of the talks seems far ranging and in depth. The heat part of the conference addresses how to design and build and heat the buildings of the future whilst the shift part addresses transportation.
I will be at the conference with Juho Nuosomaa of Akvaterm helping to explain to delegates and visitors how Akvaterm accumulator tanks / heat stores can help make the most of a plethora of energy harnessing technologies be that solar thermal, biomass, heat pumps (so electrical generation there), and of course conventional boilers as a backup. I will be taking a demonstration Akvaterm AkvaGeo Solar Plus tank which is solar ready and designed for use with heat pumps as well.
