Stovesonline encourage sustainable electricity use

Switching to a sustainble electricity supply

Stovesonline electricity

We offer a £100 cash bonus to any of our employees that shift their home electricity supply to a 100% sustainable tariff. This encourages the shift from fossil fuel reliant electricity suppliers to those that use wind, sun and water and therefore reduces CO2 emissions. This also increases the demand for alternative power and provides much needed investment in the sector.

Why don't you help too - change supplier, it's really quick and easy

If you are not on a 100% renewable electricity tariff then this is something that is so easy to change in order to reduce your CO2 emissions. It only takes a few minutes on a website or a quick phone call, depending on your circustance the bill is either no more expensive than you are paying at the moment or a little more - what excuse do you have not to switch to 100% renewable electricity?

Ecotricity invests heavily in renewables - they reinvest every £1 spent by customers on their bill with them back into new sources of green power. They offer a 100% renewable electricity tariff which is the one you should opt for.

Good Energy only supply a 100% sustainable tariff and encourage microgeneration by buying microgenerated power at above the market rate. Microgeneration is good becuse a lot of energy is lost through electricity travelling through cables - the closer the supply is to the user the less energy is lost. It really isn't much more expensive - my bill was only £17 a year more. You can call Good Energy on 0845 456 1640.
