ACR masonry stoves

The ceramic wood stove has been brought bang up to date with the Boston ceramic style wood stove. Traditionally ceramic wood stoves have been very expensive but the Boston wood stove is not only highly efficient but also affordable.
A ceramic wood stove works by absorbing the heat from the fire and then releasing it slowly to the room, even long after the fire has gone out. This creates a gentler, more constant heat than a non-ceramic stove.
The masonry surround of the Boston stove soaks up the heat from the fire and radiates it into the room. Air vents let in cold air at the bottom of the masonry casing and into the convection chamber inside where the air is heated and then released through the top of the casing. In this way the Boston ceramic style wood stove not only radiates heat but also convects. With a maximum heat output of 12kW this stove can really pump out the heat if needed.

The fire chamber of the stove has an effective airwash system to keep the large curved glass window clear and features a secondary combustion system ( cleanburn ) which maximises output and reduces emissions. The stove castings are covered by a 10 year warranty. The door of the boston stove comes in matt black as standard but is also available in brass or chrome - please ask for details. The stove surround comes in two types suited to either corner or flat wall installations and can be painted to suit the colour scheme of the room.

The Roma is little cousin to the Boston and suits a smaller room. The Roma is a ceramic style 8kW stove which is designed to heat a medium sized room or to supplement the heating in a larger room. The firebox features secondary combustion (cleanburn) which makes the stove an efficient wood burner. The masonry casing for the stove can be painted to any colour to match and compliment your room. The stove casing soaks up the heat from the fire and releases it to the room through vents at the top. This means that the heat from the Roma ceramic style stove is more gentle. The masonry casing of this stove also gives out this heat that it absorbed long after the fire has gone out.
