Aarrow Acorn stoves

The Aarrow Acorn 4 stove is the baby of Aarrow stoves. Giving out 4kW and at just 355mm wide the Acorn 4 is a stove suited to the smaller room. The Acorn 4 stove is also particularly suited to the small/medium sized houseboat as it can come with an optional backboiler. With the backboiler fitted the stove gives out 3kW of heat to the room and 5,100 BTU (1.5kW) to the water – perfect if you want to heat your boat and a provide hot water too. The Acorn 4 stove has airwash to keep the glass free from deposits and it burn wood or coal as it is a multifuel stove.

The Aarrow Acorn 5 is the slightly wider cousin to the Acorn 4 stove (only 40mm wider though), giving out 5kW instead of 4kW. A backboiler is available for the Acorn 5 stove which, if fitted, provides 6,840 BTU to the water whilst the stove then gives out 3kW of heat to the room. The Acorn 5 has an airwash system to help keep the glass free of deposits, and is a multifuel stove. When burning wood in the Acorn 5 the lower air vent is closed and the upper air control is used to control the fire. This situation is reversed when burning coal.
