Charnwood country 16b boiler stove

The Charnwood 16b boiler stove is a very practical stove. With its 27,500 BTU backboiler (44,000 BTU if you choose the multifuel version) it can drive domestic hot water as well as 3-4 radiators. The 16B woodburner can be used to top up your heating and reduce fuel bills, the multifuel version is a viable alternative form of heating for an average house if you are burning coal. The 16b stove gives up to about 7kW to the room, 8 kW to the water when burning wood. As with all the other Charnwood Country stoves the Country 16b is cleanburning and has airwash as standard. The two doors angle slightly back to the sides of the stove giving the 16b a face that points into the room. The grate in the multifuel version is the same as the grate used in the Charnwood Island models. This grate has two positions, one where it is closed, and so creates a flat bed for wood burning, and the second position where it is open, allowing coal to be burnt and ash riddled through to the ash pan below.
