Firebelly Razen Range Cooker Stove

Firebelly razen range cooker stove

The Firebelly Razen boldly takes range cooker stoves into this century. Finished in satin stainless steel the Razen cooker stove has an almost cubist design with the signature Firebelly look: elegant, modern, simple. I think that visually my favourite aspects of the Razen cookstove are the way that the generous chunky stainless steel sides of the stove extend down to form the legs and then the way that the oven and firebox door handles are designed to align with each other.

The Razen has a generous sized firebox which you need in a woodburning cooker stove, and with a nominal heat output of 10kW it can also pump out the heat. The 10kW heat output was is achieved burning around 3kg of wood per hour which means you can expect this stove to be capable of giving out at least 25% more heat than this. The Razen has a well sized, two shelf, oven and you can decide whether you would like to direct heat to the oven for baking / roasting, or to the stainless steel hotplate for cooking, boiling, or frying.

Although a fireplace looks and sounds very cosy and warm it is in fact very ineffcient compared to a stove. For new build houses we would not recommend a fireplace as it will make it hard to achieve your building regs part L1A. Install a stove instead and if your heart was set on a fireplace go for something like the Dovre 2000 series
