Firefox 12 cast iron stove
The Firefox 12 is a cast iron stove with 2 doors very similar to the Firefox 8. This is a relatively wide stove and so if you are installing it into a fireplace recess you will need quite a wide opening. With a top output of 13kW burning coal this is a stove suited to the medium sized room – you can also burn wood on the Firefox 12, which is a much lower carbon fuel. The Firefox 12 has primary and secondary air controls as well as airwash.

Firefox 12B boiler stove
The Firefox 12B boiler stove is a medium output, cast iron, boiler stove. The Firefox 12B can burn wood or coal, and has double, cast iron doors. When burning wood the Firefox 12B can give out around 7.4kW to water and 6.2kW to the room. When burning coal, the heat output to room is around 4.8kw with 8kw to water. This is a decent heat output to the room which means that you might not even need a radiator in the same room as the Firefox 12B.
