Firefox 8 cast iron stove
Similar in appearance to the Firefox 5 the Firefox 8 is a wider stove letting you use longer logs. The Firefox 8 can give out up to 8.4kW of heat and is suited to the medium sized room. This is a cast iron stove with a relatively clean design. The Firefox 8 has primary and secondary air controls – you use the primary control when lighting the stove and when burning coal and the secondary when burning wood. The secondary air supply also provides airwash to help keep the window clear of deposits.

Firefox 8 cleanburn stove
The firefox 8 cleanburn stove is based on the standard firefox 8 cast iron stove and now has been DEFRA tested. It is now capable or burning wood in smoke control zones resulting in a more efficent stove.
Like the standard firefox 8, it has a primary and secondary air control. The primary for lighting in the stove, the secondary for wood burning. The secondary air control enables airwash to keep the window clean.
