Montfort Elegance stove
The Franco Belge Montfort Elegance stove has slightly cleaner lines than the standard model and also features a larger window. The Montfort Elegance stove is Defra Exempt which means you can burn wood in it in smoke control areas. Franco Belge has also further improved the Montfort Elegance by making it possible to connect the stove to an external air duct to provide the air needed for combustion - perfect for the modern, well sealed, house.
The Montfort Elegance has a firebox lined with insulating vermiculite fire bricks making for a more efficient burn, and at 5kW is suited to smaller rooms, or a medium sized room in a well insulated house.

Montfort Classic multifuel stove
The Montfort stove is the slightly older brother to the Belfort. The Montfort stove gives out 5kW of heat and is a little wider. The Montfort has a very wide door with a large window in it. The window in this stove is kept clear by an airwash system. The Montfort is made of cast iron, is a multifuel stove and at 5kW is suited to the small sized room, or as cosy secondary heating.
