The Morso 1448 is a convector stove which means that the sides and body will tend to be cooler to the touch than a non-convector stove and the heat will also tend to be more evenly spread throughout the room. The 1448 is a modern looking variation on a traditional stove design and I think Morso have done really well again at balancing the old with the new. The 1448 has glass which fully covers the door, extending right to the edge. The door frame is coloured a deep black under the glass which makes the frame highly reflective. The Morso 1448 door handle has been upgraded to the new handle design and the dual air controls mounted unobtrusively below the door match the door handle very well. At 4kW the 1448 is a stove suited to the small room or to give a focal point and cosiness to a room that is already heated.

A cleanburning stove introduces a fresh supply of oxygen to the firebox to ignite uncombusted gases that would otherwise have gone up the chimney and have been wasted
