Morso 8180 stoves
The Morso 8180 series are very similar to the 8100 series stoves, with the same heat output and an almost identical firebox. The 8180 stoves are cast iron, high quality, very efficient, and of course pleasing to the eye. The 8180 series have an extra slit window on each side of the stove giving an even wider view of the fire. The casting angles in to the side window giving the stove a funky, solid look which I like. The 8180 series have rated heat outputs of 6.3 kW, which makes them suited to heating the medium sized room, or for providing cosy secondary heating in bigger rooms. Like the other Morso contemporary stoves the 8180 series are very clean burning and have very low emissions (they are not yet approved for woodburning in smoke control areas though). The 8180 stoves are controlled through one, easy to operate, handle: a little simpler than the 'normal' 2 handled controls which are found on many stoves today.,

Morso 8180 wood stove
The 8180 is the simplest of the three 8180 stoves. Because this stove is a little shorter than the other two it needs less room for installation – for example you might be able to fit the 8180 stove into a recess in the wall.

Morso 8182 wood stove
The Morso 8182 comes on a base of the same footprint as the main body of the stove. The 8182 also has an ash pan which makes removing the ash that little bit more convenient. Having said that there shouldn't be too much ash to remove anyway from an efficient stove like the Morso. 8182.
