Nordpeis Boston

This beautifully proportioned stove is completely classical in it's design and yet fits effortlessly into a contemporary setting. Although it is based around the elegant looks of a traditional ceramic wood stove, the combustion system of the Boston is right up to date. Here we have a fire burning at nearly 80% efficiency with a beautifully curved glass window kept clean by a highly effective airwash. The fire has a secondary combustion system which ensures that it will always burn cleanly as well as efficiently. Traditionally masonry stoves take a long time to start giving off heat but the Boston both radiates instant heat from the front as well as drawing cold air from the floor, warming it around the firebox and convecting it around the room. This means that, even though the Boston can give out up to 12 kilowatts of heat, it will never get too hot around the stove itself. In common with all convecting stoves, it spreads a gentle warmth over a large area rather than a fierce heat immediately around the appliance. Ceramic stoves have always been very expensive to buy as well as costly to install. The Boston departs from this tradition in being both affordable and very straightforward to install. There are two types of surround available, one for installations against a flat wall and another for corner installations. Both can be painted using an ordinary emulsion paint to suit the colour scheme of the room. The Nordpeis Boston stove body castings are covered by a long 10 year warranty.
