PowerFlue chimney fans are a British made product and are built to last, with any part that comes into contact with the fumes made of stainless steel or brass. Every one comes with a three year guarantee.
These fans can be used to help the chimney during the lighting or re-loading phase, and then switched off once the appliance is burning, or it can be run throughout the burn. Some chimneys work fine in certain weather conditions and then smoke when the weather changes, at which point you switch the fan on. The speed control means that you never need to have it going any faster than your chimney and the conditions require.
The fans for stoves are designed to work with chimneys between 125mm (5 inches) and 200mm (8 inches) and the fans for open fires are available to go on chimneys from 7 to 9 inches (175 - 225mm) in diameter. The only information we require to decide which fan you need is the diameter of your flue. Installation is quick and easy, the fan spigot simply fits down inside the existing chimney.
The fans are supplied complete with 20 metres of cable, an exterior junction box, a speed control and a switched fused spur (a 2-pole switch). The models for closed appliances even include a stove pipe thermometer so that the user can set the fan speed to achieve the ideal stove operating temperature.
The price of these fans includes delivery to anywhere in the UK, including the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man.
|INSTALLATION||The power at maximum speed is 0.69amps.|
