Saey Scope woodburning stove
The Saey Scope wood burning stove is an impressive yet restrained stove. The build quality is obvious when you see this stove. Internal baffles in the stove that fold down when the door is opened so that the stove does not smoke - this stove may look simple but it is very well designed. The saey scope stove is a cleanburning stove with airwash. The Scope stove also has a side loading door which means it is much easier to load longer logs.
An optional extra (£30 inc VAT) for the Scope is what Saey term a 'closed combustion' system. This means that the air supply for stove comes from outside (through a 100mm pipe going through the wall). This reduces draughts and therefore heat loss - normally a stove draws the air that it needs for combustion through the house itself, sucking cold air in.
