The Riva 55 inset stove is an efficient portrait inset stove with clean design. It has a nominal heat output of 8kW which is high for a stove which uses a 125mm flue outlet. Fitted with a smoke control kit the Riva 55 stove can be used to burn wood in a smoke control area and the liner used can be reduced down to 125mm diameter which is easier to install and less costly.
The Riva 55 inset stove has the option to spread heat to the same room or other rooms in the house by connecting two hot air ducts to the top of the stove. There is also the option to have this heat distribution fan-assisted if the fan option is chosen. The fan for the Riva 55 inset stove can be left in automatic setting whereby it will switch on when the stove is hot enough or there is a manual override. You can also alter the fan speed and select whether you would like one, or both fans running.
The Riva 55 inset stove can be fitted into many standard British fireplace openings or built in to a new wall or chimney breast as part of construction. The Riva 55 stove can come in metallic storm or midnight black metallic finish and there is a choice of frames available to suit.

When you are using twin wall insulated flue you do not need to use firecement between the joints. You only use fire cement where the twin wall adapter joins on to either the stove or the single skin flue pipe
