Stratford boiler stoves

Heating your whole home with a stove is easy with a Stratford boiler stove. Stratford boiler stoves come in four different sizes: the TF30B with a boiler output of 25,000 BTU's, the TF50B with a boiler output of 45,000 BTU's, the TF70B with a boiler output of 60,000 BTU's and the TF90B with a boiler output of 80,000 BTU's. That range of outputs means that you can choose a Stratford stove to run just a few radiators in a couple of rooms or up size and power an entire heating system and how water.

All Stratford stoves come with a water temperature sensor. A dial on the stove lets you set how hot you want the water in the heating system to be. Whilst the water is not yet up to temperature the stove automatically gives itself a good supply of air, which means a nice hot fire. When the water has reached the desired temperature the stove automatically reduces it's air supply, cooling the fire. This makes for ease of operation and a more constant heat in your home.

Stratford stoves are multi fuel stoves and can run on wood or coal. They have a riddling grate and ingeniously the riddling mechanism doubles as a fuel setting. On the woodburning setting the grate is closed and the primary air comes in above the fuel because wood burns best with a supply of air from above. On the coal setting the grate is open and the primary air comes in from underneath as coal needs a good supply of air through the grate to burn well. Stratford stoves can burn overnight if needed - but you do need to be familiar with the operation of the stove to achieve this (generally we would try to discourage overnight burning as this usually means slow burning for long periods - this results is inefficient combustion, increased deposits in the stove and flue and potentially reduced lifespans of the stove and flue due to increased metal corrosion).

Stratford boiler stoves all have a preheated secondary air supply (so are cleanburning) and an airwash system to help keep the glass free of deposits.

The Stratford TF30 boiler stove is ideal for the smaller central heating installation which would normally incorporate 3-5 radiators.

The Stratford TF50 boiler stove has a boiler with a heat output of 45,000 BTU's – enough to heat a small house.

The Stratford TF70 boiler stove is designed for the larger house in mind with a boiler output of 60,000 BTU.

The Stratford TF90 boiler stove is central heating stove with a giant heat output of 82,000 which should be enough for a very large house – as always consult a heating engineer.
