Firewood moisture meter

The Stovesonline moisture meter makes testing the moisture content of your firewood very easy. Simply split the log in half and then test one of the split faces. Test the moisture near the middle of the log if you can as the wood that has been closest to the air in the log will tend to have dried more. You are aiming at below 25% moisture. Test quite a few logs to give you a better idea of how dry your firewood is.
