Westfire One Multifuel Stove
The Westfire Series One stove is this manufacturer's first foray into the world of more traditional stoves and is a great success as far as we are concerned. We have a long history of working with Westfire and we know that when we supply a Westfire stove to a customer that we can be confident that the vast majority will be very happy with their choice of Westfire stove. This means that this is a welcome move into the more traditional, compact, box-shaped multifuel stove market.
Westfire have applied their expertise and given the Westfire Series One stove the highly efficient, cleanburning firebox which is what lets their other woodburning stoves run at an efficiency of 80% or above. Westfire stoves have also reacted to the increasing progression towards air sealed houses - the Westfire Series One stove can be totally room sealed, meaning that you can connect the stove to an air duct which runs outside your house. The multifuel stove takes all the air it needs to run from this air duct which means that the air is not being drawn through a permanently open air vent into the room as would otherwise happen. Bear in mind that one has just spent time, effort, and money in sealing the house up, why make a hole in it unnecessarily?
At 4.9kW this Westfire multifuel stove is suited to the small to medium sized room - in the modern, well insulated house you would install this stove into a larger room than you would in a less well insulated house. With its clean looks the Westfire Series One stove is at home in a contemporary or traditional setting.
The Westfire Series One stove is very efficient which means that it gives a lot of heat to the room leaving the flue gases relatively cool. It is a compact stove which means it is heavily baffled. These are both reasons why it is important to install the Westfire Series One stove in to a well designed, well insulated chimney. One of our flue designers will happily design your flue system for you - either contact us, or visit the Flue Design Service section of our site. All this is part of the Stovesonline service.
The Westfire Series One stove is also available as a tall pedestal model for those wanting something a bit taller, something a bit more modern. The pedestal option also gives you a handy place to store wood under the stove - the listing for the pedestal model is also below.
