Walltherm Zebru stove
The award-winning Walltherm Zebru is the most efficient wood-burning boiler stove in the world. It has a striking contemporary design with clean, sleek lines. But the real beauty of the Zebru becomes apparent once lit, because no other stove has a combined flame effect like this one. In the upper chamber, flames dance and crackle like the best-clean burning stoves should. In the lower chamber, flames shoot down at a 1000°C, curling back up as they hit the chamber floor and then disappearing into the boiler heat exchange tubes. It's an impressive sight, and watching the Zebru in action, there can be no doubt you are witnessing the ultimate in wood-burning. Ingeniously the Zebru operates on natural draught, without the aid of a fan, burning wood at an incredible 93% efficiency. This means you will get more heat energy from less wood than with any other stove made today.
The Zebru has a nominal heat output of 4.2kW to room and 10.5kW to water. Its combustion rate is thermostatically controlled and the air can be brought directly from outside, making the stove suitable for well-insulated properties. The direct air fitting can be taken from the back or base of the stove. The Zebru would normally be connected to a thermal store, allowing you to accumulate heat for use when needed and providing the domestic hot water too.
Available in black or grey and with an optional log and tool store, the Zebru comes equipped with: 3 bar pressure relief valve, overheat safety valve, thermostatic combustion controller (non direct air models), pressure gauge, flue thermometer, thermostat for pump start and manual air vent.
Please note that with the boiler connections cover the stove is 660mm wide.
