The LTC series load unit consists essentially of a pump, 60degc cartridge and a 3-way valve.
While the water in the stove is below 60degc the valve remains closed and the water is only pumped through the boiler in the stove. When the water reaches 60degc, the unit allows water into the heating system. The valve is fully open at 70degc which means that all the water is then allowed into the heating system.
It comes with 3 thermostatic dials which show the water flowing through the unit. This allows you to visually see that the load unit is working as it should.

The Esbe LTC261 load unit has 1 inch female threads. Valve starts to open at 60degc and is fully open at 70 degc.
