To install your wood burning stove or multifuel stove into an existing chimney you will need a register plate. Our register plate is a plate of metal fitted where it cannot be seen inside the chimney. The register plate has a hole to take the flue from the stove, and a clamp to hold the liner in place. If you have an unlined chimney then the register plate comes with a sweeping hatch instaed of a clamp. Our register plate comes with easy to use clips to hold it in place that are simply screwed into the wall.

Our register plates are made of 2mm mild steel and are painted with black heat resistant paint on the underside (the visible part).
Each steel register plate is made to order so we will need measurements as show in the picture below.
If your chimney is square or rectangular we will need length and width - less half an inch, to manufacture your chimney register plate. If your chimney is irregular then measure to the narrowest part. Remember to measure at the height where you intend the plate to go. Unless otherwise specified the flue hole will be central to the steel register plate.
It is important to let us know if your register plate if for a lined or unlined chimney.
If the register plate is for a lined chimney then we add a clamp that holds the flue liner adapter in place (which means you do not need a bottom support bracket).
If the chimney is unlined then we add a sweeping hatch so you can sweep the chimney.
Register plates are priced according to the area of the plate. A Small stove register plate is up to 1/3rd m² and comes with 4 clips, and a collar/sweeping trap. A Medium stove register plate is up to 2/3rds m² comes with 4 clips, and a collar/sweeping trap. Finally the Large stove register plate is up to 1 m², comes with 6 clips, and a collar/sweeping trap.
Extra clips and collars are available. Postage and packing for any clips or collars purchased without a register plate is charged at £9 inc VAT.
To work out the cost of your register plate simply multiply the width by the length in metres.
If your register plate is less than 0.34 square metres then it is a small plate, if it is less than 0.67 square metres then it is a medium plate, if it is less than 1.01 square meters then it is a large plate.
