The roll top chimney pot is the 'standard' chimney pot fitted to thousands of chimneys across the UK. There are different heights and colours to choose from and a wide variety of cowls can be fitted.

The straight beaded chimney pot is the pot which we normally use on top of a pumice chimney system if we are not using a DFE pot. The straight beaded chimney pot has a good cross sectional area and because it does not taper it does not restrict the flow of flue gases from the chimney.

A DFE pot is great because it reduces rain entry to your chimney. A DFE pot will tend to outlast a standard pot with a metal cowl fitted and works out cheaper too. A DFE chimney pot is the ideal pot to use with an insulated liner connected to a stove if you have no downdraught problems.
