Pellet stoves are 21st century woodburning - turning pellet stoves on and off at the flick of a switch, totally programmable and thermostatically controlled operation, loading as infrequently as every 86 hours - and the satisfaction of knowing that you are heating your home in an environmentally responsible way using a low carbon fuel.
I first encountered wood pellet burning stoves in Denmark nearly twenty years ago and was tremendously impressed with the efficiency of the pellet stove and ease of use. Since then I’ve been watching pellet stoves slow arrival in this country and waiting for what I consider to be a reliable, good looking pellet burning stove backed by the necessary infrastructure to support them.
Klover make a stunning array of wood pellet boilers and pellet stoves, with the show stopper being the Smart cookers. A Smart 120 cooker can do all your central heating, supply all your domestic hot water and do the cooking. Klover pellet stoves are made with care and attention using high specification materials and components and this quickly becomes apparent when you see one. Klover pellet boilers have typical efficiency levels of over 90%. The Smart 80, Smart 120 and the Star 14 are also DEFRA approved for smoke control areas.
Klover pellet boiler models may be the best built and best looking pellet stoves on the market and they represent the widest range of MCS accredited pellet stoves available in the UK.
Please be aware that the government have repeatedly delayed the introduction of the Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme and at various times have altered the terms under which they propose to make it available. Previous government schemes of this nature (Clear Skies, Premium Payment, Green Deal etc) have all been characterised by government indecision and changes of mind - the debacle around the Feed In Tariff for Solar Photo Voltaic Panels was a classic example of this.
For this reason we reserve the right to alter information on government grants without prior notice and always stress to potential customers that they should make their decision to go for a renewable energy source based on the savings that are achievable through the cheaper cost of the fuel and treat any grants as a bonus.
