Stovesonline's stance on sustainability

By supplying woodburning stoves throughout the UK we are encouraging the use of wood as a fuel. We feel that this is an important step towards lowering carbon emissions. Across our website we do try to encourage our customers to burn wood as opposed to coal or peat with plenty of information available to allow easy comparison of CO2 emissions from wood, coal, and other fuels.

As a company we can still do more and realise that this will be an ongoing effort to make our business more sustainable. Please read about various ways in which we have been trying to make a difference below.

Our invoices and quotes are sent out electronically if at all possible and bear the footer "Save money and cut down on waste - please only print this out if you really have to."	Our staff do not drive cars to work which saves on emissions and waste.
