Currently we are open from 10.30 - 12 noon on Saturdays for people to come along and fill their family hatchback with rings ready to split (some bring their axe with them) for which we charge the handsome sum of £10.
As in any "pick-your-own" operation this is the cheapest firewood you will ever find but there are at least two hidden extras that we throw in for FREE.
1. Splitting logs is as skillful and therapeutic as smacking 80 balls down a driving range. So "satisfaction" is your first free gift.
2. It is most certainly physically demanding so, ... the aerobic exercise (and bulging shoulder muscles) is your second free gift.
