The estate woodland comprises circa 400 acres. Due to the execution of our woodland management plan we have available a wide range of timber some of which we are processing for firewood and chipping for use in biomass boilers. In line with our woodland management plan we are also replanting where clear felling has occurred. Seasoned Firewood We are a small firewood producer experiencing an increasing demand for our quality product. We only sell seasoned firewood and when it runs out we will not sell it unless the customer is happy to receive delivery of unseasoned firewood for drying out and seasoning themselves prior to burning.Purchasing cheaper firewood which is not properly seasoned is a false economy, water does not burn well!
