Greenline air source heat pumps
Thinking of switching to a heat pump? Good choice! Benefit from our many years of experience designing, supplying, and supporting renewable heating systems across the UK.
Our approach
Heat pumps are actually fairly simple - they tend to just reliably work. It is the design of the heating system they connect to, how it is all commissioned, and controlled that makes or breaks a system. That's why we really focus on good system design and control - so that you end up with reasonable running costs, reliable hot water, consistent room temperatures, and a cosy home. Our approach is to get the basics right, and then aim for simplicity and elegance. This often means we do not have to specify additional items like buffer tanks or secondary pumps - and fewer parts needed means lower a cost for materials and labour.
Your options
Option 1: Free System Overview - First one of our experts talks with you to find out a little more about your situation and what would be right for you. Assuming that a heat pump seems a good fit you can then make two choices - a rough whole-house heat load estimate will allow us to sketch out a suitable system for you, and then introduce you to the local installer who will take things from there. This option is free of charge - we will eventually be supplying the unit and parts to the installer assuming the project goes ahead. We remain on hand as a helpful contact for both you and the installer before, during, and after installation.
Option 2: Detailed Design - Or for a small charge we dive into depth with more detailed room-by-room heat load calculations that then allow us to do more detailed heating system design and specification. The installer that we introduce you to is given access to these calculations and can then tweak them following their site visit. This puts everything one step ahead and means we can work in more depth with the installer on the system design.
We do not ask you to sign up to anything - only once you have been in touch with the installer, they have been for a site visit, and then presented you with a quote is there a decision for you to make.
And if you ever need a reminder or some help down the line then we're still here to help out.

Next Steps
Switching to a heat pump is a big investment. We recommend that you take some time over it. There are some very good books available - read them first to inform, empower, and help you to avoid pitfalls. You can order copies of Bodgebuster direct from us via the link below, or there is also the more recent "Ultimate Guide to Heat Pumps" available direct from the Renewable Heating Hub, and which one of our founders contributed three chapters to.
Please do get in touch with usand we can help you get a home that feels consistently warm, costs less to run, and gives you peace of mind knowing it's built to last. Make the switch, but in an informed and measured way.
