Wood Pellet Boiler Stoves

Wood pellet boilers can heat your entire house and provide hot water using wood pellets. These are made from compressed sawdust, produced from sustainable timber. They are renewable, low-carbon, and highly efficient, resulting in very low particulate emissions.
Unlike log-burning stoves, a wood pellet boiler lights and regulates itself automatically. You can programme it to turn on and off just like a gas boiler. All you need to do is keep it topped up with pellets and give it an occasional clean. Another advantage of pellet boilers is that, unlike swapping to a heat pump, usually only minimal changes are needed to the wider heating and hot water system. This reduces disruption and, of course, installation cost.
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant
Most Klover wood pellet boilers are MCS certified, meaning you could be eligible for a government grant to help cover the cost of installation when you swap from an oil boiler. £5 in England and Wales, £7.5k plus £1.5k rural uplift in Scotland. See our Boiler Upgrade Scheme page for more info.
Step by step
- We Discuss Your Needs - we start by understanding your home, your heating requirements, and whether a wood pellet boiler is the right fit. We'll advise on the correct size and type of boiler for your situation.
- We connect you with an installer - it's important that wood pellet boilers are installed by trained professionals. We work with the Firepower network of certified dealers and engineers who specialise in Klover systems, we'll introduce you to your nearest qualified installer.
- Site Visit & Detailed Assessment - your installer will visit your property to carry out a detailed assessment, confirm the specification, and provide you with a detailed quote.
- Professional Installation - assuming you decide to go ahead the engineer installs and commissions the system, ensuring it runs efficiently and that you're confident using it. MCS certification is handled as part of the process for grant-eligible installations.

We will have come across many potential issues already, and more importantly their solutions. Many of the models have been adapted specifically for the UK as a collaboration between us and Klover - this is how the British Traditional version of the Smart 120 central heating wood pellet cooker came about for instance.
