Each time it’s lit, whether in the evening or at the weekend, it takes over from the gas boiler, delivering radiant warmth to the room and heating the rest of your home and water supply.

With an impressive efficiency of 83.9%, the Calypso Glass Door is engineered to extract the maximum energy from every log. Its primary, secondary and tertiary combustion systems ensure a remarkably clean burn and a mesmerising flame display through the expansive glass front. With a tested heat output between 5 and 11 kW, it delivers reliable and even warmth. So efficient is its combustion that it carries a DEFRA Exemption (SE optional), meaning it’s approved for burning wood in smokeless zones.

Installation is straightforward thanks to its pre-plumbed design simply remove the back panel and you’ll find all pipework, the overheat safety valve, manual air vent, and pressure relief valve already fitted. The installer only needs to connect a load unit and integrate it with the central heating and hot water tank via a system zone manifold. Suitable for both open vented and pressurised systems, it eliminates the need for heat exchangers altogether.
