Scandfire Opus Tempo 70 Stove
The Opus Scandfire modular stove and chimney is a one stop solution for having a real fire in your home. It comes as the complete chimney breast, chimney and insert stove, all in one easy to install package. It can be installed in new builds or existing properties.
The Opus 70 is a DEFRA Approved 5 kW clean burning insert stove that has been incorporated into a purpose built pumice chamber and an Isokern pumice chimney. Perfect for new builds, the chamber and chimney is quick and simple to install and is then plastered along with the rest of the house. The stove itself is added in under an hour when the house is nearly finished. With the whole system made from insulating pumice blocks the distance to combustibles is zero, meaning that floor and roof penetrations couldn’t be simpler and the insulation and airtightness of the building is unaffected.
The stove is EcoDesign ready, has very low emissions and is tested to burn wood in Smoke Control Zones. It produces most of its heat as convected warmth, giving it excellent natural heat distribution, and is totally controllable with an unparalleled view of the flickering flames. There is a choice of fire heights and the option for an integrated log store below the stove.
If you don’t have an existing chimney then the Opus Scandfire is the simple, foolproof and inexpensive way of giving yourself the warmth and relaxation of a real fire on a cold winter’s night.
