Mendip Loxton Stoves

Mendip Loxton stoves are traditionally styled stoves that have a clean minimal design with a nice big, uncluttered window which gives a great view of the fire. The door handle and air controls on these Loxton stoves are cleverly designed, simple and easy to use, and discrete.

There are five models to choose from; the 3kW Loxton 3 being the smallest, ranging up to the 10kw Loxton 10 model, suitable for the larger room.

All Loxton stoves achieve efficiencies of over 80% when burning wood and all were tested using the continuous (as opposed to intermittent) burning method in the laboratory. This continuous lab test more accurately simulates the normal use of a stove and it is harder to achieve high efficiency ratings, making the results that the Loxton stove has all the more impressive. Not only will a Mendip Loxton stove be a cheaper heat source than using oil or gas, it will also create a cosy atmosphere in your home.

The Loxton range has been updated and all apart from Loxton 3 will have a partial direct air supply spigot of 80mm fitted as standard. If the direct air supply is being fitted to the base of the stove it can be connected directly.  If it is being connected to the back of the stove the direct air box will be required. There is the choice of a pedestal model for the Loxton 6, 8 and 10 models, which will also take a direct air supply with the additional pedestal direct air kit which is priced separately.

The updated design will also include full cast iron base grates,log retainers, cast iron doors and handles on Loxton models (excluding the Loxton 3).
