Wood pellet stoves are as easy to use as a gas boiler — turn them on and off at the flick of a switch, programme them to your schedule, and let the thermostat handle the rest. You get the satisfaction of heating your home with a low-carbon renewable fuel, with none of the effort of a traditional log burner.
The fire is constantly and automatically adjusted to burn as efficiently as possible. This means less fuel used, more heat delivered, and significantly lower particulate emissions. EcoDesign legislation sets the emissions limit for pellet stoves at half that of wood stoves — and because everything is automated, there's no scope for user error. The stove adjusts the air controls for you.
Pellet stoves are available as boiler models to heat the whole house, or as space-heating stoves to warm a single room. They range from utility boilers in the garage to stylish living room models to range cookers providing all your central heating.
