Ecodesign sets out strict limits on emissions and minimum efficiencies for wood burning stoves. The legislation is due to come into force in the UK in 2022, but we're going one step better by adopting EcoDesign a year ahead of schedule. We're already phasing out non-EcoDesign stoves and by the end of 2021 we will only sell EcoDesign stoves (apart from any last few remaining models). Stove manufacturers are responding well to this and so there are already many models that meet the regulations ready for EcoDesign. For example all Opus stoves are already EcoDesign Ready.

The Woodfire Passiv is a 10kW contemporary freestanding boiler stove.
The Opus Calypso is a stylish modern stove that looks and burns like the designer stove it is, but hidden inside is a boiler that will heat your domestic hot water and radiators while you’re enjoying the flames.
The Woodfire CX8 stove is the smallest of the free-standing Woodfire stoves, with a total output of 8kW, 5.4kW to water and 2.6kW to air, making it ideally suited for use in low energy houses. The CX8 is a dedicated woodburning boiler stove which can be supplied with all the air it needs for combustion via an external air duct.
The Woodfire CXC8 has the same engine as the CX8 but with a different body style. It is EcoDesign ready, has a 76% efficiency rating and is designed to be used in well insulated homes providing all the Domestic Heat Water needs as well as running radiators.
The Freestanding version of the popular Opus Tempo 70 woodburning stove.
The round shape, discrete handles and unrivalled view of the fire all combine to produce a superb looking stove. With the logs below and the curling orange flames above, the Trio fills any room with warmth, light and relaxation
The ECKA 50/35/45W is a corner inset stove with a nominal heat output of 7.5kW, 4.5kW going to water and 3kW to the room. A useful stove to know about if your room layout calls for a stove that goes around a corner.
The Hoxter HAKA 67/51Wh has a sliding up and down door, allowing you to use the stove as an open fire if you so wish. It has a nominal heat output of 11kW with 74% of the heat going to water. A high performance 17kW version is also available.
The Hoxter HAKA 89/45Wh is a large inset boiler stove designed to burn wood. It has a slide up and down door and a single easy to use control. The HAKA 89-45Wh has a nominal heat output of 14kW with 74% going to water and there is also a + model available with a total output of 22kW.
The Hoxter HAKA 89/45WTh is the largest double sided Hoxter boiler stove. 56% of the heat goes to water which leaves it 4.4kW to give to the room. A higher output HAKA 89/45WTh model is also available.
The open log store compartment under the firebox of the Opus Melody LS is a handy addition and the wood looks nice too all stacked up.
The Klover Smart 80 is a wood pellet boiler combined with a cooking hot plate. so you have a compact, modern, highly efficient pellet stove which you can heat a kettle or saucepan on, whilst also providing your domestic hot water and heating.
The Opus Melody GLS has the glass-covered door and the log store underneath - a nice combination, and handy too.
The Dik Geurts Ivar 5 is a cleanly designed 4.9kW stove, a great pick for the smaller living room.
Elegant, curved and compact, the Opus Aria is a lovely 5kW wood stove.
The Opus Harmony PR can be partially rotated - so you can have a better view of the flames if you move to another part of the room.
The Harmony GLS has the glass-covered door and the log store underneath - I really like the combination of the deep black finish to the door and the texture of the logs.
