The largest of the Stella 3 models, the H1000 offers the maximum size of viewing glass. The frameless vertical lift glass door means that whichever way you are using this stove, with the door open like a traditional fireplace, or with the door closed as a controllable stove, the bottom of the door frame does not block the view of the flames.
As with all Fondis inserts, this model is designed to give some radiant warmth from the glass but with the majority of its output being released up near the ceiling as warm air. This gives it the ability, if it is turned up, of heating a big space but ensures that it isn't ever too warm around the stove itself. Once the room is comfortable the stove can be turned down to run slowly, giving out only a small amount of warmth but keeping a good flame pattern.
Fondis fires are very controllable and can be run fast when they are first lit to get lots of warmth into the room and then burnt slowly at tick over just to keep things cosy.
The Stella H1000 has a direct air spigot enabling all of the air required for combustion to enter the stove from the outside.
